Moptim announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the application for U.S. marketing of easyRef auto refractometer, a handheld portable device that uses wavefront technology (Shack-Hartmann) to objectively measure refractive errors within just seconds.

Evidence is mounting that myopia is growing around the world, easyRef offers a simple solution for the vision screening needs of a growing population. This long-awaited approval is a historic event for Moptim, Moptim can now begin marketing the device across the U.S. This is another successful overseas market approval after being granted the CE Mark approval.

Moptim will be showcasing the easyRef at the VISION EXPO, held Sept 14-17, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada (Booth #F5038) and the ESCRS, held Sept 16-20, 2022 in Milan, Italy (Booth #D63).
